Michael Dell explains the EMC acquisition to channel partners

One does not simply make a $67 billion acquisition.

At the 2015 Dell World event in Austin, Tex., the founder and CEO of Dell Inc. talked about the future of his company, following what is now the biggest tech acquisition of all time, one that is almost exactly double the price of HP’s acquisition of Compaq 14 years ago.

The acquisition will mean that for the channel, Dell will become relevant in four major areas, namely servers, storage, virtualization and PCs.  The company wants to be an end-to-end technology provider.
