Haid retired this summer after a stellar career in the channel and gave CDN an exclusive interview.
He joined Tech Data in 1999, as part of the company’s acquisition of Globelle Corp., where he served as vice-president of sales.
“Frank is an integral part of who we are,” said Rick Reid, president, Tech Data Canada. “The Tech Data Canada community owes so much to him, and he will be missed by us all.”
CDN interviewed Haid at the TechSelect conference in St. John’s, N.F.L.D. just before he departed the Mississauga, Ont.-based distributor. In part two of a three part interview, Haid looks back fondly on some memorable moments and people in the channel/distribution business after 29 years.
