Best Channel Marketing Initiative Gold
The Gold winner for Best Channel Marketing initiative came all the way from St. John’s, NFLD.
Chris Dillon of Triware picked up the company’s award (pictured with Bruce Stuart of ChannelCorp.)
for offering delegates at Triware’s showcase the opportunity to learn about new technology solutions and interact with vendors and solution providers.
The event exceeded expectations and industry norms.
Throughout the day-long event, more than 100 companies viewed presentations and showcase displays from 18 national and local technology vendors.
Best Channel Marketing Initiative Silver
David Reid, the president of EPIC, came from Winnipeg to accept his company’s award for the twice annual conference
that brings together the greatest representation of information technology professionals in the province of Manitoba.
Nearly 500 delegates attended this free conference to network with potential customers and leading technology experts.
Best Channel Marketing Initiative Bronze
The bronze award went to Karen Brodie and Barb Cummings of Brodie Computes for its successful Microsoft’s Early Adopter Program.
Brodie was the only Canadian Microsoft partner to bring its customers into the program.
Best Managed Services Gold
David Kelly was on hand to win the first ever Best Managed Services Gold award for Metafore for the IT services it provided for the Allan Candy company.
The Gold Award winner delivered a solution that allowed Allan Candy to operate independently from its former parent company—quite literally from day one.
Best Managed Services Silver
The Tri-Board Student Transportation Service turned to the Silver Award Winner, Zycom Technology Inc. for a solution that delivered cost savings of approximately $30,000 each year and more.

Best Managed Services Bronze
Larry Poirer of Nitro came from Ottawa to accept the company’s Bronze award for its work with a small to mid-sized business that could not afford to staff an IT department.
With the technical expertise that Nitro offered with 24/7 Server Monitoring, Server Maintenance, Firewall Maintenance, and IT business advice, this business enjoyed a return on their investment.
Best Collaborative Solution
Stuart Crawford of IT Matters came from Calgary to win the first ever Best Collaborative Solution for his company’s work at Atlantic Directional,
a provider of drilling services to the oil industry,
which needed an innovative solution for its location move.
