WBM makes Vancouver-based printing acquisition

WBM Office Systems today announced its acquisition of Vancouver-based PrinterWorks for an undisclosed sum.

The latter provides managed services throughout British Columbia.

The move is meant to expand WBM’s presence in Canada.

The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan-based company operates throughout the country and provides solutions in managed IT, end-user computing, mobility, data and security.

According to WBM, PrinterWorks has customers in healthcare, financial services and other industries. Its staff and portfolio will be added to WBM’s printing division.

“All people, commitments, and services in place for PrinterWorks customers across British Columbia will remain stable and consistent,” the company said in a statement.
