Trend Micro wins VMware 2017 Global Partner Award

Trend Micro Inc.’s deep integration with VMware technologies and its innovation in the hybrid cloud security space helped the company earn another Global VMware Partner Innovation Award.
The global cybersecurity solutions firm won the award in the Technical ISV category – which it won last year as well – at the VMware Partner Leadership Summit, held in Scottsdale, Ariz. Trend Micro’s strategic partnership with VMware goes back to 2008.

Sanjay Mehta, SVP of business development and strategic alliances for Trend Micro said in a statement that the company is “delighted” to the win the same award for the second year in a row and the work it’s done in the area of security for the modern data centre.

“Our comprehensive set of automated security capabilities is optimized to protect VMware deployments across data centers, private and public clouds, and hybrid deployments — all part of our mission to secure the connected world,” said Mehta.

Customers using VMware have seen strong support from Trend Micro and its security offerings for the past 10 years, and that consistency has helped them follow through their digital transformation goals, said Susan Nash, vice-president of strategic corporate alliances for VMware.

“We look forward to our continued collaboration in enabling digital transformations for global business of all sizes,” she said.
