After 12 years in business and a significant name change just two years ago, IT Cloud Solutions now has more than 500 IT retail partners in its network in Canada. And, they have just signed a distribution agreement for Canada with security vendor Bitdefender.
IT Cloud Solutions, used to be known as ITCloud.ca. The Trois-Rivieres, Que.-based company specializes in secured backups and data synchronization solutions. It has branched out to include cloud computing and cloud computing services for managed service providers (MSP). Bitdefender, a Romanian-based vendor that specializes in IT security tools, is partnering with IT Cloud Solutions to help them attract more MSPs.
According to IT Cloud Solutions, resellers in its network will have access to the Bitdefender anti-virus and anti-malware security suite, and thus business continuity, which they can market to their customers.
This protection would include content and device control capabilities, firewall capabilities, and encryption wizard.
Meanwhile, David Latulippe, vice president of sales and business development at IT Cloud Solutions, met at the Millennium Micro Group’s annual meeting and said that the agreement with Bitdefender also operates on cloud licenses, protection and management of workstations from a single portal.
