The Oracle Cloud Marketplace is designed as a one-stop shop for Oracle customers around the globe to find business applications and services from channel partners. More than 65 partners were recognized by Oracle in this marketplace that now features solution providers with expertise on enterprise cloud applications for the Oracle Cloud. A high school on the Oracle campus

Oracle plans to build a public high school on its Redwood Shores campus in Silicon Valley. The company has targeted the fall of 2017 for a grand opening. The school is going to be called Design Tech High School or d.tech and will be free of charge.

Oracle co-CEO Safra Catz said it will be an innovative charter school that incorporates technology, design thinking and problem solving skills to help students prepare for successful careers.

“Seventeen years ago, Larry Ellison told me that he’d love to have a school where students learn to think. Our support of d.tech reflects Larry’s vision for a unique high school founded on principles we believe in: innovation, creativity, problem-solving and design-thinking. We couldn’t be more excited to build this school on our campus and to see the positive impact it will undoubtedly have on the students, teachers, Oracle employees and the Bay Area community,” she said.

The d.tech school will be a 64,000-square-foot facility that’s LEED-certified and can house approximately 550 students and 30 teachers and staff.
