OnX offers managed Sharepoint service

CDN Top 100 Solution Provider OnX of Toronto is entering a multi-phased offering to deliver a fully managed Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint digital platform for Simply Green Home Services.

Simply Green is a home energy product and services company focused on HVAC rentals and lease receivables. After Simply Green expanded through acquisition, the Toronto-based company had several disparate ERP systems and needed a centralized, unified solution to provide new business intelligence into its data and to be able to monetize information.

George Konstantopoulos, senior vice president and head of operations for Simply Green, said from the beginning they wanted a fully managed, unified Office 365 solution because the company realized this was not its core competency.

OnX plans to produce a fully managed Office 365 hybrid cloud environment that includes a customized SharePoint platform that will be integrated with the old Great Plains ERP system as well as Dynamics CRM.

The migration, set up and deployment will be rolled out in three phases, according to OnX. The first phase will work to eliminate multiple manual processes, centralizing them into one integrated cloud environment that is fully managed and secure.

In phase two, the accounting platform of Great Plains will be integrated with automated and digitized reporting.

Then in phase three the business intelligence comes in with a visual dashboard that includes Web analytics for lead generation.

Tom Signorello, the CEO of OnX, said organizations such as Simply Green are adopting next-generation digital platforms to transform their business with an underlying strategic growth initiative.
