New partnership to bring Cloud video services to Atlantic Canada

Telemerge Canada Inc. of Markham, Ont. and 3D datacomm Inc. of Fredericton, N.B. have formed a partnership to bring cloud-based video conferencing services to the Atlantic Canada market.

This agreement will enable 3D datacomm to resell Telemerge’s Telepresence-as-a-Service (TPaaS) video conferencing service in a subscription model.

Telemerge’s TPaaS solution is a subscription-based video conferencing service because the company is using an OPEX approach to reach customers of any size.

3D datacomm President Mike Milburn evaluated several options to bring cloud-based video conferencing services and he said that Telemerge created a far superior offering to what his company could do on its own or what other managed video services providers could offer.

Telemerge CEO Simon Doo said with 3D datacomm’s deep entrenchment in the Atlantic marketplace, it made complete sense to sell our service offering through them versus establishing a local market presence on our own.
