One of the more high profile solutions brought to market by Jabra and its channel partner MetroNaps is the EnergyPod (pictured above).  MetroNaps and Jabra worked collaboratively to bring a napping solution to the workplace. According to Jabra, organizations are investing in employee benefits, such as massages, free food and drinks and can now extend this to enabling sleep too. The EnergyPod offers a space designed to enable napping in the workplace, and combined with the Jabra Evolve 80 noise cancellation headphones.

Huelskamp was not the only new channel resource for Jabra. The company, which manufacturer’s corded and wireless headsets along with mobile and in-office speakerphones, has brought on former Brother Canada executive Debora Do Couto into the fold. Do Couto is the channel account manager at Jabra Canada.

Do Couto twice won the President’s Award at Brother International.

Huelskamp comes to Jabra just as its parent company GN Audio acquires VXi Corp., another headset manufacturer. VXi has the BlueParrott brand.

Hamnet said of the acquisition that it will strengthen the company’s position in North America. Going forward the plan is to build on VXi’s strong presence and reputation in the U.S. and combine it with the international reach of Jabra.
