iPhone X pre-orders open soon

The iPhone that is celebrating 10 years of the Apple smartphone is nearly here!

Pre-orders for the iPhone X will open on Friday, Oct. 27 at 12:01 PST on apple.com/ca and the Apple Store app. The phone will then ship the following Friday on Nov. 3 where it will become available in Apple Stores at 8 AM local time. Apple says there will be iPhone Xs in-store for walk-in customers, but is encouraging those forgoing a pre-order to arrive early.

The iPhone X is available in 64 GB and 256 GB models starting at $1,319 unlocked. Carrier pricing with a contract may vary. The smartphone is available in two colours: silver, and space grey.

Through Apple’s iPhone Trade-up program, you can trade in an eligible smartphone for up to $455 in credit to lower the full cost of a new iPhone or reduce the monthly payments with a carrier.

The iPhone X, which is actually pronounced the iPhone ‘Ten’, is the company’s new premium smartphone celebrating a decade of iPhone innovation. It’s adopted the 2017 modern, bezel-less look with glass front and back design, and has Apple’s first 5.8 inch OLED display, which it has dubbed as the Super Retina display. Additionally, the iPhone X display does support HDR and Dolby Vision.
