Future of retail study highlights sharp decline in cash use

Just how are consumers paying for goods these days?

The most interesting findings of a recent Future of Retail Study released by Walker Sands Communications may not be how much mobile payments have grown in 2014 but rather how much the use of cash has shrunk.

Despite ranking as the most secure form of payment by 56 per cent of consumers, the number of people that paid for something in cash during the past day has less than halved.  Check out our interactive infographic below.
