Eurocom goes green

Ottawa-based notebook vendor Eurocom is following in the footsteps of IBM and other IT vendors and has developed a totally green notebook.

Called the LV series, it comes in a 19-inch screen model and a 22-inch widescreen version. The unit also features VESA mountable, RAID 0/1; LGA775 Core 2 Extreme; Nvidia 7600GTX with adjustable angle Web cam, support 1080i HDTV input. The computer is a four-in-one PC solution for gaming, HDTV LCD PC, Video Conferencing (Voice and Video over IP) or regular PC (desktop, floor standing or Wall mounted).

Eurocom’s All-in-One Multimedia PC solution have Intel Viiv technology with flexible TV, PC and Video Conferencing connectivity. Users can also enjoy HDTV content right at your desktop. Supports up to 1080i HD format when connected to a high-definition video signal (displayed at native 720P resolution).

The machine also has SRS WOW Audio Technology with speakers that create three-dimensional sound with deep, bass and wide separation, the firm said.

Also available on the green notebook are a remote control access features, channels, television and video source control, power, volume, side headphone jack, and component video input.
