Vancouver’s D3 Security announced the launch of its Connected Global Sales Channel and Partner Program Tuesday, in addition to the recent appointment of Peter Marini as the company’s new director of global sales channels.

D3’s solutions are flexible and integrate easily with security solutions, said Gordon Benoit, D3’s president and founder, making it a valuable addition to any value-added reseller or solution provider’s tool belt.

“We are very excited to welcome Peter Marini to the team and are confident his leadership will empower the D3 Connected Partner Program to build the relationships necessary to effectively broaden D3’s reach around the world,” he said in a statement.

Marini was a senior technology sales strategist for Microsoft for four years prior to his time at Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., where he helped develop business for cloud technology alliances and managed security service providers across the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions.

“Now more than ever, organizations from each industry sector need to automate their security operations and engage in data-driven decision-making,” said Marini. “D3 Security has long been a recognized SOAR leader because they allow customers, and now partners, to do more, be it full-lifecycle incident response, compliance reporting, or generating detailed SOC metrics. 2018 has been an especially successful year for D3 and we look forward to building upon that success to grow the joint business with partners.”

Organizations across seven different industries have turned to D3 for help over the years. D3’s solutions cover cyber incident response, automation, forensics case management, fraud management, IP management, HR and physical security.
