D-Link offers free evaluation of business-class products

Networking product vendor D-Link Systems Inc., is offering small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) a free 30-day evaluation of its managed switches, wireless local area network (WLAN) products and storage solutions.

The new program enables qualified customers to apply online to receive products for integration into their network environments for testing to enable them to judge for themselves the merits of the products prior to purchase.

In conjunction with this, D-Link is also launching a new marketing and ad campaign focused on its managed switches and complimentary products.

“We are excited to offer a 30-day evaluation program to better help customers understand the performance of D-Link’s business products and the potential impact on their business network needs – from managed switches and access points, to network storage and security solutions,” said Michael Hardy, vice president of channel and enterprise sales, D-Link. “In addition to an integrated marketing campaign, we’re excited to bring a new voice to the enterprise networking conversation with the launch of D-Link’s Business-to-Business Blog, offering product and technology insight for connected businesses.”

This new blog will provide view into how customers are using D-Link technology to solve real-world business challenges, as well as highlight the tools and products the company has to offer.

D-Link is also providing IT professionals a free 2’x3’ reference poster that contains regularly-needed facts and information about connectivity, security and a range of networking topics. The first in the series is titled: Ethernet @ Work.

The company also said it will increase its investments in the SpiceWorks community of over 200,000 IT professionals. The investment will include the launch of campaigns and programs designed to improve engagement around the identification of solutions to project challenges with the use of D-Link products and support teams.
