Arctiq partners with Google Cloud

Google Cloud customers can now turn to Arctiq Inc. for support, thanks to a new partnership between the Toronto-based services led solution provider and Google Cloud.

The new partnership will bring consulting and workshop services to Google Cloud customers, according to a recent Arctiq blog post. It will also complement the company’s recently launched dashai tool, which will be given a roadmap to the Google Cloud platform. Dashai is a a customizable, open source dashboard developed by Arctiq.

Arctiq partner Kyle Bassett suggested expanding its list of partners is going to continue.

“Customers don’t simply purchase from a single vendor in the world of open source. Today’s projects require trial and error, and always integrate multiple vendors’ software into a single pipeline.” Bassett said in the blog post.

Google and Arctiq have arranged for Kelsey Hightower of Google Kubernetes to help with workshops in Toronto June 28. No other details have been announced.

Arctiq works closely with Amazon AWS and EC2, Microsoft Azure and IBM BlueMix. Earlier this year, they also became the first company to officially become certified in Red Hat Inc.’s new Application Platform Partner (APP) Initiative. The program is Red Hat’s exclusive group of partners focused on driving sales through the company’s middleware portfolio.
