Equinix president on renting data centres of the future

TORONTO – CDN conducted a two part interview with Equinix president of the Americas Karl Strohmeyer, during the opening of its state-of-the-art data centre in Toronto called TR2.

Equinix’s first Canadian data centre is an impressive 242,000 sq. ft. facility, but it also comes with a unique go-to-market strategy.

In part one of the interview, Strohmeyer explains why customers and channel partners should rent the data centre of the future instead of building it.

He also outlines Equinix’s data sovereignty strategy.
