Dell Canada’s Kevin Peesker opens up: from going private to why client devices still matter

Saskatoon native Kevin Peesker returned to Canada in January to become the president of Dell Canada, and he’s had a busy year so far.

Peesker has been overseeing the reorganization of Dell Canada to a Canada first-strategy, which sees subsidiary executives reporting into him and go-to-market strategy and decisions being made, bot in Round Rock, Tex., but in Dell Canada’s North York, Ont. offices. And while that has been underway, Dell itself was taken private, in one of the largest such transactions in corporate history.

Recently, CDN editor Paolo Del Nibletto caught up with Peesker to discuss all these recent organisational changes, and why client devices still matter.
