Enrique Salem, Symantec’s CEO, spoke to partners during a general keynote session to discuss the company’s new Sell-With Services model. Salem said the model is meant to help partners increase their revenue and direct sales opportunities.

Partners who register new deals in the enterprise, mid-market or SMB spaces will be eligible to participate in the Sell-With Services model.

Randy Cochran, vice-president of channel sales for the Americas at Symantec, also took to the stage to discuss the value of the new services model.

“Our goal is not to compete with our partners here,” Cochran said.

The Sell-With Services model offers channel partners tools, access to new accounts and is a way to have direct access to Symantec.
