Video: David Suzuki grades IT on its green progress

Scientist, broadcaster and environmentalist David Suzuki was the keynote speaker at a recent Hitachi Data Systems Canada event in Toronto.

Suzuki, an Order of Canada inductee and one of 10 greatest Canadians, told a sobering message of what carbon emissions from the high tech industry has done on planet Earth.

In this special video interview, CDN editor Paolo Del Nibletto asks Suzuki his opinion on how well the IT industry is performing in terms of creating more environmentally friendly computing products.
