Toronto solution provider wins Solution Provider of the Year award at 2015 CEAs

There were plenty of winners at last night’s 13th annual CDN Channel Elite Awards (CEA) including Toronto-based IT service provider Jolera as the Solution Provider of the Year.

Jolera over the past decade has captured several Gold, Silver and Bronze CEA awards in many categories but never the big one until now.

Jolera won the award for an innovative solution they developed for the Ministry of Transportation Ontario Drive Test program. The solution dramatically improved road user safety and streamlined more than a million driver documents and road test reports.

Part of Jolera’s mandate is to constantly challenge the technology norm and this solution for the Ministry of Transportation Ontario certain showed that in the view of the CEA judges.

A crowd of more than 220 people packed the Paramount Conference and Event Venue in North Toronto to witness Jolera’s triumph. But Jolera was not the only solution provider to hit it big last night.

Navantis for the second year in a row won double Gold award victories. Navantis captured the Best Small Business Solution award along with the Gold as the Best Managed Services Solution.

Last night the Channel Elite Awards introduced a new category in Best Security Solution and the Gold winner was Graycon Group of Calgary. The Silver award went to former Solution Provider of the Year Infinite IT Solutions, while the Bronze went to HoneyTek Systems.

First time winner Sela Canada won the Gold prize for Best Enterprise Solution. The runners-up in that category were WBM of Saskatoon and IT Weapons of Brampton, Ont.

Besides the Silver in Security, Infinite IT Solutions also won the highly coveted Best Service Organization award gold. The runners-up in that category were CompuCom Canada and MNB I.T. Services.

Top 100 Solution Provider ESRI Canada struck gold as the Best Cloud Solution company, while ITnorth.ca of Victoria, B.C. came in second and EnvisionIT was third.

One time Solution Provider of the Year award winner Tenet Computer Group was the winner for Best Mobile solution. The runners-up in that category were Infinite IT Solutions and EPAM Systems.

And, another former Solution Provider of the Year winner Clear Concepts of Winnipeg won the top prize for Best Mid-Market Solution. The runners-up in that category were Konverge Digital Solutions and Digitcom.

Tech Data Canada, Dell Canada and StorageCraft were the main sponsors of the event. And, sales compensation expert Emilia DiSimone presented new concepts in cloud compensation at the afternoon CEA Workshop.
