This years #CDN100 awards gala witnessed record attendance from the channel industry. The Canadian channel industry also broke another record – cumulatively grossing over $8 billion in revenue. The highlight of the night was the tie between CDW Canada and Softchoice for the number 1 spot. A tie for the number 1 spot is something that has never happened before in the history of CDN Top 100 awards. There was also a ‘tie’ for the lifetime achievement award. Channel veteran Rick Reid , president of Tech Data Canada and Dave MacDonald, the former president and CEO of Softchoice were presented the award.
