Top 100 solution provider makes major acquisition

CDN Top 100 Solution Provider Quartet Service Inc.  of Toronto has acquired En Vogue Computers also of Toronto.

Founded in 1998, Quartet reached 81st place on last year’s CDN Top 100 Solution Providers list with a revenue range of $10 to $15 million.

En Vogue is an IT managed service provider that specializes in Office 365. Over the years, En Vogue has serviced customers in the construction and professional services industries. En Vogue is not listed on the CDN Top 100 Solution Providers rankings.

After integration, Quartet plans to provide En Vogue clients with access to its hosted infrastructures, planning and leadership services and monitoring tools.

One of the main reasons for the acquisition is Quartet add more Office 365 skills to its bench strength.

The timing maybe advantages for Quartet as versions of Office 365 Home and Personal have surpassed the seven million subscriber mark at the end of last year; a 25 per cent growth over the previous year’s performance.

Quartet President Robert Bracey said En Vogue is an excellent complement to Quartet’s business and helps to address the growing trend for organizations to simplify IT operations and focus on growth.

En Vogue founder Norman Di Pasquale, said he is encouraged to bring his company’s Office 365 expertise to Quartet and working to increase service levels and breath of offerings.

Office 365 has grown outside the borders of Canada and the U.S.  In just two years Microsoft has made Office 365 available in approximately 127 markets worldwide.

En Vogue is not Quartet’s only solution provider acquisition. The company also acquired perennial CDN Top 100 Solution Provider KLM Solutions Ltd.
