Top 100 Solution Provider acquires B.C. reseller

F12.net Inc. of Edmonton looked further west for its next acquisition target in OnDeck Systems Inc. of Courtenay, B.C.

OnDeck is a noted IT service provider on Vancouver Island. They have been a long-time member of Ingram Micro’s TrustXAlliance and are led by 2010 CDN Womens’ Honouree Naomi Carmichael.

F12.net is also a member of the TrustXAlliance and together they are prominent members of the Wild West Chapter of the group.

The addition of OnDeck advances F12’s reach into the B.C. market. The company has embarked on an aggressive accelerated growth plan with the goal to become a nationwide IT services provider.

Alex Webb, CEO of F12.net said with the fast pace of the IT industry and a growing demand for nationwide services, F12’s acquisition of OnDeck aligns with the company’s strategy to supply the province of British Columbia with all-inclusive IT service programs that propel organizations forward.

Carmichael told CDN that F12.net is a great company that she has admired for more than a decade. “This enables them to move into B.C. market and we get technology strength. We’re better together,” she said.

She added becoming part of the F12.net team and sharing the goal of continually improving customer service, brings excitement to her team at OnDeck. Under the F12 brand, OnDeck will continue to deliver tailored services while leveraging F12’s service offerings, vendor partnerships, and data centre capabilities.

OnDeck has been serving the Vancouver Island region for more than 24 years. Naomi and Steve Carmichael, the owners of OnDeck, plan to join F12 in two key business roles, Naomi as the Regional Manager for Vancouver Island, and Steve as Regional IT Manager.

F12.Net Inc. ranks No. 67 on the CDN Top 100 Solution Providers list with revenue between $15 to $20 million. F12.net made one of the more strategy mergers in the channel in 2015 with the Insite Computer Group deal. In 2016, F12 acquired XCEL Professional Services Inc., a Calgary-based managed services provider (MSP).
