Within the managed services realm, managed security services is one offering that more security vendors are urging partners to get into, whether it’s developing their own hosted offerings or reselling those of the vendor or another provider.

For the partner, there’s all the traditional benefits of the MSP model – predictable revenue stream, trusted advisor status, and so on. And for clients, with security becoming increasingly complex and threats evolving more rapidly, an “as a service” model can make real sense too.
