The Utility Company introduces its Green IT Card

Ottawa, Ont.-based The Utility Company, a provider of technology communications and business management solutions, earlier this month introduced its Green IT Card for the North American small to medium-sized business (SMB) market segment.

The Green IT Card allows end-users to easily transition from onsite technological support to remote support by simply dialing 1-866-MY-UTILITY when an issue arises. With the card, the first call provides users with up to 30 minutes of free call time, and any additional calls are then charged at a price of $2 per minute.

Mark Scott, president and founder of The Utility Company, said The Green IT Card is designed especially for the SMB market because it gives users proactive remote monitoring and management capabilities, security features, virtual services, online back-up and disaster recovery, and more.

“The Green IT Card provides new users with a great introduction to our Connected Office service portfolio,” Scott said. “We feel the Green IT Card provides that first step to get technicians and their cars off the road in 90 per cent of the cases.”
