Tech Data Canada integration centres hit milestone

Tech Data Canada’s two integration centres have received ISO 9001:2015 certification.

The distributor has a 16,000 sq. ft. integration centre in the Toronto suburb of Mississauga, Ont. and another one, 2,500 sq. ft. facility in Richmond, B.C., a suburb of Vancouver.

According to Sukh Randhawa, Vice President, Business Operations, Tech Data Canada, these certifications reflects the company’s continued commitment to provide excellence in service and support across Canada.

“Tech Data Canada has been operating under the ISO standard since 1999. The proactive decision to acquire ISO 9001:2015 certification demonstrates our desire to continually improve and consistently meet the growing expectations of solution providers to ensure we are providing the highest quality configurations while also meeting applicable statutory and regulatory requirements,”  he said.

Tech Data Canada’s integration centres operate with more than 15 vendor-certified technicians who hold more than 30 industry-recognized certifications. The ISO 9001:2015 registration ensures that Tech Data provides professional, high-quality configured technology products to the channel.

The distributor’s integration centres consistently exceed the 99.8 per cent on-time delivery and customer satisfaction benchmarks. The ISO 9001:2015 Certification Audit required Tech Data to review, improve and manage the processes necessary for the continual improvement of its quality management system. Solution providers can be confident that Tech Data’s state-of-the art integration centres provide quality configured products along with quick and efficient service.

The Richmond integration centre is part of Tech Data’s Western Canada distribution centre that opened in the summer of 2006. The 78,000-sq.-ft., 18-bay facility more than tripled the previous distribution centre (23,000 sq.-ft.). This facility service channel partners in B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and the territories.
