Tech Data Corp. and silicon valley-based secure file sharing and collaboration vendor Soonr have inked a distribution deal that will bring the Soonr Workplace to the channel as part of the TDCloud business unit.
Soonr Workplace will be offered exclusively through Tech Data’s Solutions Store and it enables businesses to increase productivity through access and file sharing capabilities from any device.
Bharath Natarajan, director, TDCloud and Software Services at Tech Data, said the partnership with Soonr will deliver enterprise grade productivity tools through a secure cloud. Tech Data’s Solutions Store is powered by StreamOne and Soonr file sharing and collaboration services will addressing the growing demand for file sharing and collaboration. The StreamOne platform, an automated buying, selling, provisioning and billing system for cloud and subscription-based services technology that scales the business and operational scope.
According to the distributor, Soonr Workplace gives solution providers enhanced margin opportunities, a recurring revenue stream and additional services sales. The company already sports more than 150,000 customers.
Victoria Grey, CMO at Soonr, said that Tech Data’s TDCloud business unit provides the company with a way to reach the rapidly expanding channel base offering cloud solutions.
