Synnex signs distribution deal with Toronto-based storage vendor

Synnex Corp. has signed a distribution deal with ioFABRIC to market its software-defined storage solutions.

Toronto-based ioFABRIC, founded in 2013, makes Vicinity, which includes distributed, flash-optimized, software-defined and hyperconverged capabilities.

The software and hardware solutions feature storage automation with resource unification capabilities, centralized management and simplified flash deployment, and can be either sold as a software license or as white-labeled hardware or software.
