Enterprise software maker SAP AG is now offering its Hana solutions through a new subscription model as part of its cloud push.
The program will include new subscription models for SAP Business Suite via the SAP Hana Enterprise Cloud service.
The company its customers like the functionality of SAP Business Suite but are also looking for the flexibility and rapid innovation and deployment offered by cloud providers.
With SAP Business Suite, SAP Business Warehouse application and the SAP Hana platform now available through a subscription model, the company said it can enable customers to run these mission critical applications in a private managed cloud environment.
“…we are not only emphasizing out commitment to the cloud with new subscription offers for SAP Hana, we are also increasing the choice and simplicity to deploy SAP Hana,” said Dr. Vishal Sikka, executive board member overseeing products and innovation at SAP. “In addition, we are expanding our global presence with a comprehensive in memory-centric data centre plan, dramatically simplifying our customers’ IT landscapes.”
This development compliments that SAP Hana Cloud platform enhancement March which enables users to extend, build and run new cloud applications on top of the SAP Hana platform.
The SAP cloud migration service also provides customers with a simplified migration path for moving existing SAP applications to SAP Hana Enterprise Cloud.
The service includes options to integration to non-premise SAP applications and other SAP cloud solutions including those from SuccessFactors and Ariba.
