RapidFire IT assessment report now available in Canadian French

RapidFire Tools Inc. is stepping up its expansion into the Canadian market with the introduction of a Canadian French version of the IT assessment reports from its Network Detective systems assessment tool.

The Atlanta-based company said the move is meant to accommodate multilingual managed service providers in North America. The new North American version of the Network Detective tools can now also generate reports Spanish. Additional language translation modes are now in development to support international expansion.

At the federal level, French has a co-official status alongside English in Canada. Canadian French is an umbrella term that refers to the varieties of French spoken in Canada.

“Our subscribers north of the border have been asking us to produce reports in Canadian French so they can serve clients in Quebec, and those with clients in southern parts of the country with large Hispanic populations have been asking for the reports in Spanish,” said Michael Mittel, RapidFire president. We’re not only responding to this need of our existing subscribers, but also translating our reports into dozens of other languages in preparation of a large international expansion.”

Network Detective is a non-invasive IT assessment tool, used by service providers around the world. Unlike many solutions, Network Detective is able to acquire a vast amount of network data — including assets, users, configurations, and vulnerabilities — all without installing any software, probes, or agents.

In addition to automatically pulling information quickly from anything attached to the network, data from individual “off line” devices can be captured in minutes, and automatically incorporated into the final reports.

Pricing for the network assessment module, the security assessment module, or the exchange assessment module is set at $999 each for a one-year subscription. Buying two modules for a Network Detective double bundle is $899 each, while all three modules together will cost about $799 each.

The translated Network Detective reports create an advantage for those MSPs and resellers who are looking to serve customers in their native languages, RapidFire said.
