Puppets go high tech with pressure sensitive track pad

Nick Barber of the IDG Newsservice has a very interesting video feature that involves high tech and puppets.

The video shows how Synaptics has broken through the barrier with touch surfaces. In the past, users could only indicate if the device is on or off. This latest model understands pressure.

Barber interviews a student researcher from the University of Manitoba, who gives an excellent explanation on why pressure information is important.
