One on one with McAfee Canada’s Ross Allen

With one quarter already under his belt as general manager of McAfee‘s Canadian operations, Ross Allen is ready to put his stamp on the security vendor’s operations in Canada.

No stranger to the channel, Allen is a former president of InfoStream Technologies, a Richmond Hill, Ont.-based systems integrator. He was also Canada country manager for EMC Corp. and came to McAfee (NYSE: MFE) from Copan Systems, a Denver-based storage solutions provider, where he was vice-president of sales for the Eastern U.S.

Allen recently sat down with CDN to discuss his priorities for McAfee Canada and its channel, the evolving nature of security, and how his experience with an SI will influence him in his new role.
