New Salesforce partner community to speed up sales process

In an effort to boost sales from its partner ecosystem, customer success platform and CRM provider, Salesforce.com Inc., has revealed a new solution called the Lightning Partner Community.

The Lightning Partner Community is designed so that companies can provide the same tools to resellers, franchisees, and channel teams in order to make those direct sales forces successful. Within the program, companies can turn partners into an extension of their own direct sales team by creating a single place to identify opportunities, track progress, and close deals.

Features included in the Lightning Partner Community are:

  • Lightning Partner Experience: A new and mobile-first design that gives companies the ability to deliver a personalized and branded user experience across any device.
  • Integrated CRM for partners: Includes sales path, kanvan view, lightning dashboards, and salesforce CPQ. It extends CRM records, which includes leads, opportunities, and accounts, in a workflow that gives partners everything they could need to close deals on the go, in any location.
  • Salesforce Einstein for partner community: Allows partners to sell faster and smarter with recommended answers, knowledge articles, and experts. If a partner has questions about expanding their business for instance, Salesforce Einstein can recommend articles and experts in that community to help with that process.

“Companies have the ability to accelerate growth if they create a partner ecosystem that can act like an extension of their sales team,” said Mike Micucci, general manager and senior vice-president of Salesforce community cloud. “With the new Lightning Partner Community, companies can now arm partners with the world’s smartest CRM, helping them close more deals faster.”

The Lightning Partner Community is available today within the Partner Community Cloud License.
