Kaseya releases new management platform

Kaseya has released a new version of its K2 IT Management platform.

The new platform is expected to target SMB through enterprise users and provide a new level of agility and automation for critical sys management functions, the Toronto-based company said.

Kaseya will continue to implement a hybrid SaaS/on-premise delivery and advanced functionality for this new version.

Recently, Kaseya announced that the Kaseya Virtual System Administrator (VSA) achieved a level 1 validation against Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2: Security Requirements for Cryptographic Modules. Kaseya actively participated in IT government security validation process. The FIPS 140-2 validation is a requirement for any cryptographic product, which will be used in a U.S. government agency network.
