ESET names country manager to new Toronto office

Security vendor ESET has announced a new country manager for Canada.

The Slovakian company has named Iva Peric-Lightfoot into the role, where she will manage operations of the company’s Toronto office.

There, she will also have a specific focus on channel sales, marketing and distribution.

Prior to joining ESET, Peric-Lightfoot was the director of Canadian distribution at IT distributor Navarre Corporation, and had senior manager of new channels development and U.S. retail sales as her last role in over a decade and a half working at Symantec.

“We have been looking forward to opening our new office in Canada’s main tech hub: Toronto,” said Andrew Lee, CEO at ESET North America. “Appointing a candidate with channel, vendor and distribution experience to lead our Toronto operation was key for us, and we have found all these qualities and more in Iva.”

ESET has offices both in Toronto and in Montreal.
