Cirba beefs up Densify.com SaaS offering with new insights feature

Cirba added a new interactive insight and guidance feature to Densify.com, the vendor’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering for hybrid capacity optimization analytics.

The new capability, dubbed Expert Insight, provides users with interactive insight and guidance related to risks and opportunities in their VMware and hybrid cloud environments. According to Cirba’s announcement, Expert Insight is provided to Densify.com customers through its team of optimization experts. It is fully integrated with the Densify.com user interface, providing customers with notifications of new insights, as well as collaboration with Cirba’s engineers.

“Integrating domain experts directly into our SaaS software will revolutionize how IT organizations will optimize their infrastructure. Most organizations either don’t have the time or access to the right expertise to optimize capacity decisions, but with Densify.com and its Expert Insight capability, they don’t have to,” said Gerry Smith, CEO of Cirba, in a statement.

Densify.com provides best-of-breed analytics for IT infrastructure optimization. Partners and customers can use it to monitor and analyze Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, IBM SoftLayer and VMware vCloud Air.

The SaaS offering uses predictive workload pattern analysis to provide specific, actionable recommendations for optimizing IT infrastructure.

“We have taken advanced analytics that are recognized as being best of breed for infrastructure optimization and made it possible for everyone to drive substantial savings, while also reducing risk,” Smith said.

The Densify.com update also included a new simplified user interface enabling users to more easily present and navigate the SaaS offering’s analysis results. According to Cirba, the new UI makes it easier for even untrained users to analyze and optimize hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Cirba takes Densify.com to market through a variety of partners, including IT service organizations, managed infrastructure service providers and VARs involved in selling software and SaaS applications.
