CEA Best Service Organization Winners

It was a big night for Mississauga, Ont.-based solution provider Infinite IT Solutions as this company won an unprecedented four awards at the 2016 Channel Elite Awards.

Infinite IT won gold as the Best Service Organization in the channel community in Canada by saving a large financial services firm from the ultimate disaster.

This company was dealing with damage to their equipment and ultimately their reputation.

But in came Infinite IT to the rescue. They worked around the clock to first get the company operational and then on the back-end to get them on the cloud to give back control of their systems, data and security.

Company CEO Joe Ussia said our service is not limited to fires or floods as we can also help against malicious attacks.

CEA Silver Winner

Navantis may not have won any Gold awards at the 2016 Channel Elite Awards but they were the heartwarming story of the gala. The Toronto-based solution provider helped with the Syrian refugee effort in Canada.

As part of the effort, the Canadian Red Cross was asked to respond and spearhead the efforts to bring 25,000 refugees into this county.

One of the challenges was identifying and validating all the people entering Canada to start a new life. Navantis developed a custom registration and reporting service that met all of the Canadian government’s security concerns that also accelerated the process so the new Canadians could enter the country faster.

CEA Bronze Winner

The Winnipeg-based HUB Computer Services won the Bronze award in the category of Best Service Organization after dedicating more than 20 years to its customers. The company provides leading IT solutions and services and works with its clients as it grows.

One example of this is Canad Inns, one of the largest independently owned hotel chains in Canada. They provided a strategic planning and system design that made, not just the hotel but its restaurants and entertainment centres across the province become operational around the clock through a 24/7 help desk service. With this, Canad Inns enjoyed a 98 per cent increase in service.
