CDN’s Top 25 Newsmakers of 2015 – No 22: Mitchell Martin

Mitchell Martin, the president of Synnex Canada, should also receive credit for the Dell Canada partnership in 2015.

While he at first resisted the temptation of joining rivals Ingram Micro and Tech Data back in 2014, Martin took his time and made sure everything was aligned properly with Synnex in Canada, the partner network before he put pen to paper.

Martin had he reasons for not signing right away, but he never closed the book on Dell telling CDN that he would monitoring the situation closely with the other distributors.

He said after the agreement was reached that he was excited to bring Dell’s exceptional solutions to the Synnex Canada ecosystem of solution providers.

Synnex now has Dell’s client, enterprise, print and imaging offerings for the Canadian SMB market and they will be integrated into the distributor’s solution bundles and offerings across all “Solv” practices and technology areas. This will include servers, storage, networking, converged infrastructure, software, and client products.
