2017 CEA Best Mid-Market Solution Winners

The former Solution Provider of the Year Infinite IT Solutions of Mississauga, Ont., won the Gold award for Best Mid-Market Solution.

One of the company’s clients came to them with a need that could be served by no one better than them. Mitigating and eliminating over 6,000 hours of production downtime in the first 40 weeks alone, and significantly improving their customer support experience, the client has been effectively freed to pursue growth opportunities abroad.

In 2017, the client reported that the US and Mexico now represent 18 per cent of their total revenue, and they expect to grow that by three per cent by the end of the year.

The next set of awards go to the solution providers that have created the most innovative and problem-solving hardware, networking, mobile, cloud, big data, or software-defined solution for a mid-size organization or department.

SILVER: WBM Technologies

Saskatoon, Sask.-based WBM Technologies won the silver for Best Mid-Market Solution for creating a highly available, highly scalable IT solution for mid-market organizations that provides a high level of configuration. The entire technology stack is designed to work together to provide maximum efficiency, and is fully supported by WBM IT services.

BRONZE: Zycom Technology

Zycom Technology of Toronto provided KFL&A (Kingston-Frontenac-Lennox-Addington) Public Health with a workforce transformation solution, leveraging the Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) platform to reduce costs, integrated with VMWare Horizon View for the VDI broker, Mellanox, for Top of Rack (ToR) networking with Zycom professional services.

For this work the company was named Bronze award winner in the Best Mid-Market Solution category at the 2017 CDN Channel Elite Awards. KFL&A Public Health is enjoying improved service delivery to their business, and are driving value within the organization with less staff requirements.
